The Youngstown Warren Regional Chamber of Commerce Foundation is the funding arm of the Chamber’s economic development division—the team that works tirelessly on business attraction, expansion, retention and job creation in our Valley.
For the first time since the foundation was formed in 1986—then known as the Youngstown Area Chamber Foundation—the entity now has a president to guide its exciting movement to a new direction. Christopher Litton is leading the foundation in its largest funding campaign to date: Project 360°.
The 2009 campaign is intended to raise $1 million, more than doubling our past annual pledges. Did you know that just $423.93 in donations will result in the creation of one job? And $1 million will create more than 1,600 jobs!
In the past 15 years alone, our economic development team has helped 340 companies, creating more than 16,000 new jobs, investments totaling more than $1.5 billion and millions of square feet of building space constructed or absorbed. And we’re on track to continue this success, setting our goals even higher.
We are ready to continue the story of a rejuvenated Mahoning Valley and entice more people to call our community home. To get involved or learn more,
