IN ANTICIPATION OF A WINTER STORM, THIS EVENT HAS BEEN MOVED TO THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 18.
The possibility of public health emergencies arising in the Mahoning Valley concerns many people in the wake of recent hurricanes, tsunamis and acts of terrorism, as well as the threat of pandemic influenza. Though some believe it is impossible to be prepared for everything, taking preparedness actions helps companies deal with disasters of all sorts much more effectively.
As a public health official, Trumbull County Coroner Humphrey D. Germaniuk, M.D. will discuss preparedness actions in the Mahoning Valley and the role employers must play.
This training has been approved for 1.5 credit hours toward the PHR, SPHR and GPHR recertification.
