Job Description

The Executive Coordinator is responsible for exercising independent judgment and considerable initiative to provide a wide range of administrative and managerial support to the President & CEO. Responsibilities include oversight of office management, supervision of receptionist, preparing reports and data analysis, strong computer and research skills, flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors. Duties may also include supervision of other administrative personnel. 

This position requires an enthusiastic, independent, and attentive professional to provide high-level administrative support to the President & CEO and Board of Directors. This individual is responsible for providing administrative and strategic support to the President & CEO and will also function as the primary contact person for the Board of Directors and associated committees (Executive Committee, Finance Committee, etc.). This position also supports the Chamber Foundation and Leadership Mahoning Valley with Board management. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or public administration desired. 
  • Strong organizational, planning, problem analysis, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to work in a high-energy and demanding environment. 
  • Extensive knowledge of office administrative procedures and knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment acquired through 5+ years related experience. 
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy. 
  • Strong analytical ability is required to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work. 
  • Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. 
  • Strong work ethic.
