The Regional Chamber is partnering with ShaleDirectories.com and Tip of the Arrow, a non-profit organization, to hold the first Veterans’ Hiring Event in Youngstown.
The ShaleDirectories.com and Tip of the Arrow partnership offers unique support for companies looking to hire veterans. Companies interested in hiring veterans should submit their job descriptions and specs for job openings at least four weeks prior to the job fair, and Tip of the Arrow will recruit veterans with the skill sets for the job openings.
Executive career counselors will meet with the veterans for four or five hours prior to the hiring event in to prepare them for the interviews.
Limited employer spaces are available. The first 20 companies interested in hiring Veterans, or 100 or more job openings will be accepted., whichever comes first.
