Description:
Every year, hundreds of welders are critically injured through exposure to numerous toxic fumes and physical hazards associated with this critical manufacturing skill. OSHA welding safety standards require the establishment of worker safety programs, proper training, written hot work permits, use of material safety data sheets, labels and other warnings and the explanation of hazards.
Rob Sehein of Airgas Great Lakes will discuss not only the hazards of welding, but also its art and science.
This session has been approved for 1.0 credit hours toward the PHR, SPHR and GPHR recertification.
