Economic Forecast Breakfast

Date: 2/9/2012
Time: 7:30 - 9:30 a.m.
Location: Mr. Anthony's, 7440 South Ave., Boardman

Description: As unemployment continues to decline in the Youngstown-Warren region — with rates besting the national average lately — and “shale” becomes part of our daily vocabulary, it seems that the Valley has much to look forward to on the economic front in 2012. What do experts say?

Join us for this annual forecast as Jeff Wagner, senior vice president and chief investment officer at First National Bank, takes a look at our economy, from the global to local level, with a special emphasis on shale and how its impact is being felt around the world. Wagner, who joined the First National Trust Company in 1995, has 25 years of experience in trust investment management and had previously served as securities analyst/portfolio manager with the First Merit Corporation and portfolio manager with the Key Corporation.

Regional Chamber Vice President of International Business Attraction Eric Planey will also give an in-depth report on the Marcellus and Utica shale plays and how they will continue to fuel our Valley’s economy this year and beyond.
