This session provides an overview of the wage and hour rules with which supervisors, managers and HR professionals must be familiar to comply with the federal Fair Labor Standards Act. Among the issues covered will be the classification of exempt and non-exempt employees, rest and meal breaks, properly recording work hours, volunteer time, work done over lunch, travel for work and more.
