At our Economic Forecast breakfast, featured speakers Bob Paduchik, Ohio chairman of Donald J. Trump for President, and Rick Ungar, progressive radio talk show host of "The Rick Ungar Show," will join to give their perspectives on the 2020 Presidential Election via a humorous and entertaining presentation.
Coincidentally, both men have ties to the Valley but never met. Ungar is a Liberty High School graduate and will spend time with students in that district during his Valley visit. Paduchik's parents are both Valley natives, and he spent much of his childhood with relatives that reside here.
While Ungar and Paduchik are nationally acclaimed in government and politics—Ungar is a frequent political analyst on FOX News, while Paduchik is a political strategist with 30 years of experience winning campaigns in Ohio—both have had unique and varied careers.
Ungar, a former president of the Marvel Character Group, worked with the famous Stan Lee to bring Spiderman to the big screen and also created celebrity/entertainment TV show "Access Hollywood." Paduchik, founder of Agincourt Consultants, served under two Ohio governors and in the Bush-Cheney White House, where he was the driving force behind the Yucca Mountain nuclear project. He recently stepped down as co-chair of the Republican National Committee to serve as director of the 2020 Trump Ohio campaign.
In addition to our keynote speakers, Chamber and partner MAGNET will present the third annual "Excellence in Manufacturing" award to Quality Switch and attendees will hear from Chris Cwiklinski, CFA, senior vice president and director of portfolio management for First National Bank Wealth Management's Cleveland Region, who will discuss the economic outlook on local, regional and national levels.
