The third annual Washington, D.C. Fly-In hosted by the Regional Chamber will now be a virtual/hybrid event!

Sponsors and participants will gather in the Valley instead of D.C., while some government officials will interact virtually and others in person. Rather than a two-day event, activities will take place only on September 17. The cost to attend is $100/person.

"The change to a hybrid/virtual event will help keep everyone safe during COVID, and we'll still be able to advance our most important public policy priorities," the Regional Chamber's Guy Coviello said. The top priority will again be protecting and growing the Youngstown Air Reserve Station, one of the Valley's largest employers.

2020 fly in speakers

Scheduled to meet virtually or in-person with Fly-In participants are Lt. General Richard Scobee, commander of the U.S. Air Force Reserve, which oversees YARS, and U.S. Sens. Sherrod Brown and Rob Portman. More meetings will be scheduled, and additional details will be announced soon.
