The MVLC was launched with the goal of creating a cohesive and innovative logistical environment in the Mahoning Valley. Members of the council will work together to:

Prioritize infrastructure projects
Develop and promote public policy and advocacy initiatives
Create B2B connections for new and expanding companies
Improve talent attraction and retention across all facets of the industry
Broaden public transportation capabilities
Develop and expand a secondary and post-secondary education and training environment that benefits both employers and employees
Cultivate a “logistics friendly” environment that attracts new business opportunities
Enhance rail, air, water and ground transportation capabilities
Educate and inform the logistics community in and around the Valley through panels, webinars, roundtables, conferences and networking events
Prepare the Valley for the launch and implementation of the electric vehicle revolution.
Collaborate with organizations like DriveOhio, FlyOhio, ODOT and OTIC to ensure the Valley remains an invaluable asset to the state of Ohio
