  ELLWOOD GROUP INCORPORATED (EGI), a leading supplier of world-class, high-quality metals and custom-engineered components, announced today the construction of a new aluminum casting facility at its Ellwood Engineered Castings (EEC) site in Hubbard, OH. The new 70,000 square-foot Ellwood Aluminum manufacturing plant will expand the materials production capabilities of the 108-year-old company for the first time beyond its historical focus, steel, to better serve the tool and die, aerospace forging, plate mill rolling, and extrusion industries.

In this role, Kathy is responsible for planning, developing, organizing, implementing, directing and evaluating the organization’s fiscal function and performance; evaluating and advising on long-range planning; introducing new programs, strategies and regulatory action; and providing analysis of budgets and financial reports and trends to assist the Chamber’s president and senior leaders in performing their responsibilities.

• Chambers Partner To Compile Regional Employment Opportunities for Displaced General Motors, Other Workers

• Fifteen Census Tracts In Valley Approved For Federal Opportunity Zones

  On Thursday the U.S. Department of the Treasury and Internal Revenue Service certified Opportunity Zones in five states—including Ohio—and one territory. Among Ohio’s approved census tracts are all of those that were recommended in the Valley.
