• Ryan Re-Elected to Ohio Arts Organization

    The Regional Chamber is pleased to recognize the re-election of Eric Ryan, president and founder of JAC Management and Eric Ryan Productions, to the Ohio Citizens for the Arts (OCA) Board of Directors. ​ The organization works to ensure funding for the arts throughout Ohio, and its board—comprising residents from throughout the state who have strong interest in supporting the arts—first elected Ryan in December 2015, citing the expertise he would bring.

  • Regional Chamber Launches New Website

    The Regional Chamber is proud to announce the launch of its newly redesigned website, at regionalchamber.com. Visitors to the site will find a more modern and updated look, as well as dropdown menus, enabling quicker navigation of all of the organization’s divisions and initiatives. In addition, the site is now mobile friendly, with easier access to event registration and the online directory—the two most-visited sections of the entire website.

  • Nominations Sought for New "Excellence In Manufacturing" Award

    The Regional Chamber and partner MAGNET will honor a Valley manufacturer in early 2017 with their first Excellence in Manufacturing Award. Nominations are now being accepted for the award, which focuses on a company’s longevity in business, growth, product innovation and achievement.

  • Nordson Receives Tax Abatement for Austintown Facility

    Westlake, Ohio-based Nordson Corporation received a 60 percent, 10-year Enterprise Zone tax abatement this evening from Austintown Township Trustees for building renovations to be completed at its new manufacturing center at 375 Victoria Road (the former Tamarkin facility).

  • Mahoning County Receives $20,000 Grant to Encourage a Drug-Free Workforce

  • Phase I of Landscaping Initiative Begins on 422 Corridor

    On Wednesday and Thursday, students of the Landscape Management Program at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center assisted in the continued transformation of the US 422 Corridor as they installed landscaped beds of pollinator plants, shrubs and small trees through a vision created by the Kent State University Graduate Landscape Architecture Program and Youngstown State University Regional Economic Development Initiative.

  • Regional Chamber Board Unanimously Opposes Youngstown City Charter Amendments

    The Regional Chamber’s Board of Directors voted unanimously at its regular meeting on Wednesday to oppose the Community Bill of Rights and Part-Time Workers’ Bill of Rights Youngstown City charter amendments, both of which will be on the November 8th General Election ballot.

  • OH-PA Export Initiative Receives Prestigious IEDC Award In Cleveland
