The Regional Chamber is pleased to recognize the re-election of Eric Ryan, president and founder of JAC Management and Eric Ryan Productions, to the Ohio Citizens for the Arts (OCA) Board of Directors.
The organization works to ensure funding for the arts throughout Ohio, and its board—comprising residents from throughout the state who have strong interest in supporting the arts—first elected Ryan in December 2015, citing the expertise he would bring.

The Regional Chamber is proud to announce the launch of its newly redesigned website, at regionalchamber.com.
Visitors to the site will find a more modern and updated look, as well as dropdown menus, enabling quicker navigation of all of the organization’s divisions and initiatives. In addition, the site is now mobile friendly, with easier access to event registration and the online directory—the two most-visited sections of the entire website.

Westlake, Ohio-based Nordson Corporation received a 60 percent, 10-year Enterprise Zone tax abatement this evening from Austintown Township Trustees for building renovations to be completed at its new manufacturing center at 375 Victoria Road (the former Tamarkin facility).

On Wednesday and Thursday, students of the Landscape Management Program at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center assisted in the continued transformation of the US 422 Corridor as they installed landscaped beds of pollinator plants, shrubs and small trees through a vision created by the Kent State University Graduate Landscape Architecture Program and Youngstown State University Regional Economic Development Initiative.

The Warren Area Chamber of Commerce Education, Civic & Cultural and Economic Development foundations distributed $157,200 to multiple organizations in 2015 for a variety of projects. The foundations, established in 1991 and managed by the Regional Chamber, exclusively fund projects in Trumbull County.
